The Tax Man Cometh, Happy Spring, and a 50th Birthday. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
It is curious that while we wait impatiently for the Spring season to blossom our joy is overshadowed by the fact that this is the time of year when we reconcile our tax liability with our governments. Even though it hurts I am not opposed to taxes, it is how we have roads, firefighters, police, bridges, and many other amazing features in our Republic. Our tax dollars also help us when we get older and help those who are less fortunate. We are a very compassionate nation. I am so grateful for all the people who have served to keep this country safe. I am grateful for those who have lived and those who died to keep this Country free and prosperous. Built on Christian principals we keep moving forward in an ever-increasing difficult human environment.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
This April brings a special birthday to Michael Simmons. My youngest son turns 50 on the 29th of this month. It seems impossible to think it has been half of a century since my little blonde hair, blue eyed Michael was born. Michael brings joy to many and is a dedicated hard-working young man. He loves to build homes, boat on calm waters, and fish with his partner Ami. I Love You, Michael.
My youngest sister Willow sends pictures of the blossoms in her garden while I look at the forecast and see that snow is possible later this week. Winter please be over soon. I am eager to get my hands into the garden soil and start my own garden. Though, here in Michigan, we all know planting a garden before Memorial Day can be dangerous for the plants. Finding plants that the deer do not like limits what I plant. Most often I discover that the red squirrels have dined on my perennials all winter long. It is a good thing that I like all the critters that visit my yard.
Time to get back to my Follow Up calls, I do have a business to run.
